The Journal of Data Protection & Security is a new on-line multi-disciplinary, peer-reviewed publication focusing on data protection and security. With the rise of electronic storage, e-commerce and electronic communications, an increasing amount of data is available to be collected and stored by corporations, governments and institutions. While this data can help enhance services and communication between organisations, it also poses a threat to people's privacy when data is lost, compromised or abused.
The journal aims to enhance and accelerate communication among researchers and practitioners on the above issues. The Journal of Data Protection & Security enables rapid publication, worldwide visibility and accessibility by indexing your research work in OAI databases and open access directories such as Google Scholar and DOAJ. All theoretical, empirical and practical case study manuscripts will be considered for publication.
Topics of interest to the journal include, but are not limited to the
following:
-International compliance and regulatory
requirements for disclosing information
